About the Department

தமிழ்த்துறை தகுதியும் அனுபவமும் மிகுந்த பேராசிரியர்களைத் தன்னகத்தே கொண்டு இயங்கி வருகிறது. தமிழ் மொழியைத் தடையில்லாமல் உரையாடவும் பிழையின்றி எழுதவும் வல்ல மாணவர்களை உருவாக்க வேண்டும் என்ற சீரிய குறிக்கோளோடு செயல்படுகிறது.

The Department of Tamil, functions with well qualified and experienced staff members. The main aim of the department is to make the students speak and write flawless Tamil.

நோக்கம் (VISION)

• உலக செம்மொழிகளில் ஒன்றான தமிழ் மொழியில் மாணவர்களின் தகவல் தொடர்பு திறன்களை வளர்ப்பதன் மூலம் மாணவர்களிடையே கலாச்சார விழுமியங்களைப் போதித்தல்.
  (To develop the communication skills of the students in the Tamil language which is one of the classical languages in the world and thereby imparting the cultural values among the students.)

பணி (MISSION)

• தமிழ் மொழியின் நடைமுறைப் பயன்பாட்டை மாணவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளச் செய்தல்
  (To expose students to the practical usage of Tamil Language)
• தேசியக் கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் மதிப்புகளை மாணவர்களிடம் வளர்த்தல்
  (To inculcate National heritage and values in students)
